Oak Ridge Public Library (10:15 AM - 12:00 PM)
Back by popular demand! The Oak Ridge Public Library is proud to present the varied and sweet toe tapping tunes of the “Tuesday Dulcimer Group” on the first two Mondays of August. They will be playing in the lobby on August 2, 2010 and August 9, 2010 from 10:15 a.m. to noon. The Tuesday Dulcimer Group is a subset of the Knoxville Area Dulcimer Club and has performed in for many groups such as the Museum of Appalachia, The Oak Ridge Public Library, and other public venues. The group is composed of longtime local players with a genuine flair for music. Come and let them share their amazing talent with you! 27th Annual National Night Out


The Oak Ridge Police Department and local Neighborhood Watch groups are participating in the 27th Annual National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 3th at A.K. Bissell Park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event will be held in conjunction with Oak Ridge City Council's Night Out for the 5th consecutive year.
